What to Expect

Animals may be adopted at The Humane Society's Pets Fur People. Dogs and cats are available for adoption by responsible pet owners and have been spayed or neutered if old enough. If the pet is too young, at the time of adoption, a Certificate of Sterilization will be included in the adoption packet. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, all vaccinations (including rabies) and specialized testing .

I understand that adoption applications will be evaluated based on what is best for the pet and the applicant. We do not operate on the first-come-first served basis rather on who is best qualified for the dog or cat.

We have added an additional service to our adoption package. If you adopt a dog from Pets Fur People, you can board that dog at a reduced fee at our facility.
